Working core? If you’re swinging side to side you’re really not  the whole point of this exercise is to use the core to keep the body stable, which is really hard to do since you’re alternating lifting the arms. Minimize the swinging by crunching those abs a bit and keeping that core tight!  3 day free trial on my library of workouts in my subscription program is still going on! Side lunges!  Do you find this exercise to be difficult? Check out my knee on the left and see the difference with my knee on the right. Instead of having my body go sideways, I’m having my body go back (like sitting back). This makes it so much more effective to target the entire lower body without putting any strain on the knees. You can use towels or paper plates (if you have rug), give it a try and tell me which one feels better!  Try my workouts for free on my subscription program! Lunges!  it’s an amazing exercise for the lower body (especially the glutes) if you’re doing it right, took me a while to learn to isolate the glutes with this one you wanna crunch the abs by tucking the pelvis in, lean forward a bit so you can place your weight on the glute you’re working (front leg), and keep mind to muscle connection by pushing through the heel of the front foot  Ladies!
